Accounting Assistant
Our client is looking for an individual for an Accounting Assistant position in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. You must have 3+ years of accounting experience. You must also have strong Microsoft Excel skills. This position will involve supporting various clerical and accounting functions. Responsibilities:
Process and voucher vendor invoices
Manually post all unposted payments received electronically
Prepare and record company financial transactions, preparing supplemental schedules
Assist with requesting funds in manual banking accounts reconcile credit card statements
Identifying past due invoices for collection
Research past due invoices and verify progress
Assist with month end close month-end responsibilities
Other projects as assigned
Requirements:
Three years of accounting experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
Familiarity with Sage Accounting software preferred
Manufacturing industry experience preferred
Strong organizational skills
Keen attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Employment Type: Contract to hire
Pay: $17 - $20 per hour based off experience
Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
