Accounting Principals has partnered with a Bergen County, New Jersey based financial institution in their search to hire Accounting Associates. These are junior level positions, ideal for graduates of accounting, finance or economics that have had some internship experience, but are looking to make that ‘next step.’ These are long term contract opportunities with the potential to become permanent. Currently, the role is fully remote, however, ultimately the position will be on-site. To be considered for this position, one must have a foundational understanding of GAAP and intermediate to advanced skills in Excel. Posting financial data to accounts
Handling communication between the organization and clients
Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
Processing payments and documents such as invoices, employee reimbursements, and financial statements.
Utilizing Excel to create reports and organize data
4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Foundational understanding of GAAP
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel
Strong communication skills
Self-Starter; Attentive to detail
