Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounting Assistant job for the corporate office located in Concord, CA.  The right candidate will have 1 year of accounting experience doing Accounts Payable.  You will be responsible for accounts payable, preparing AP batches to be entered, matching back-up to AP invoices, filing, entering checks into check log and maintain, assist with the weekly check run, handled various administrative clerical work, and assist with duties and projects as assigned.


Qualifications for the job include:

- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree would be preferred

- Software experience with an ERP system preferred

- Solid knowledge accounting principles

- Able to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to ambiguity

- Comfortable working in-office

- Reliable, dedicated, and driven to get the job done

- Attention to detail, quick to learn, and a problem-solver

- Strong communications (written & verbal)

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)


Experience: 1 year of accounting experience (Accounting Assistant, Accounts Payable, Accounting Clerk)

Compensation: $22.00 – $26.00

Employment Type: Temporary (3 to 4 months)
