Accounting Assistant Job in Mason OH
Our client in the Mason area is looking for an Accounting Assistant on a temp to hire basis. The primary duties for the is position will be general clerical duties related to the Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills along with some exposure to Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.
The position will pay $12-$13 per hour depending on experience.
Primary Duties and/or Qualifications:
• Receive and Sort Mail for the Accounting Department
• Distribute mail to appropriate accounting associate for processing
• Post Payments to appropriate accounts in QuickBooks
• Key invoices into QuickBooks
• General filing and answering phones when needed
• 1-2 years of basic accounting experience
• 1-2 years general administrative experience
• Strong math and technical skills
• Ability to prioritize time and multi-task
• Prior experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required
