We are currently looking to fill a temp to hire Accounting Assistant job opportunity for this fun East Bay company located in Oakland, California. You should have 6 months of experience in an accounting position whether, AP, AR or Payroll. You will be responsible for data entry for payroll timesheets, accounts receivable entering invoices, covering the front desk for the receptionist daily, assist other departments scanning and classifying various documents and other projects as assigned. The hourly pay for this position is between $17.00 to $20.00 depending on your level of experience.
Your Qualifications for the job include:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree would be preferred but will consider a candidate with additional experience and no degree
- 6 months of experience in an Accounting position
- Solid communications able to work with management and field personnel
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Attention to detail, able to pick up tasks quickly, and organized
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Strong Data Entry 10-key
