Location: Brentwood, TN (Remote 2 days/week)

Pay Rate $22-24/hr

Job Summary

Processes AR transactions

This includes review and verification of all bills for accuracy, check preparation, and correspondence mailing.

Researches and resolves all open payables problems.

Maintains all accounts receivable and banking records.

Duties and Responsibilities

Completes daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for General Ledger accounts, insuring accurate processing and posting of all account entries.

Documents all transaction and General Ledger adjustments, noting frequency of discrepancies between the general ledger and account statements or corresponding records.

Maintains and archives all accounts payable files.

Scans all daily work, monthly and weekly reconciliations.

Review of all incoming wire transactions to ensure completeness and organization.  


Minimum Qualifications

 High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience, preferably within corporate accounting  (certain college course work may substitute for the work experience requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

One to two years of formal accounting courses, training, or degree.

Knowledgeable and familiar with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office.

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Good written and oral communications skills.

Proficiency in data entry/typing

 Excellent attention to details

Ability to apply initiative and work with little supervision.

The ability to exercise sound and reasonable judgment.
