Accounting Principals is assisting our Morris County, New Jersey client in their search for an Accounting and Financial Systems Manager.  This is a great opportunity to become a part of a growing, reputable organization in a high visibility role!  This will be a remote position to start until the office reopens.  This role will also require extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft GL and Oracle EPM.

Job Description:

  • Support the systems and processes of the Corporate Accounting, Finance and Operations areas.  Partnering with leaders and Subject Matter Experts within these areas as well as IT
  • Provide technical expertise in regards to the updating, maintenance and integrations of financial systems, databases and financial reporting tools
  • Represent corporate finance on projects by establishing the scope, defining the objective, collecting requirements, performing updates, crafting solutions, executing test cases and providing documentation and training
  • Identifying system enhancements, developing requirement documents, approving tests results for system enhancements and developing implementation plans
  • Participating in test plan development and coordinating with accounting, operations, finance and IT developers
  • Reviewing all change control documentation
  • Managing software implementations and upgrades with IT.  Ensure delivery schedules are met, standard are maintained and integration issues with existing systems, databases and tools are identified
  • Review workflow and data processes
  • Analyzing, initiating and implementing business process improvements across Corporate Accounting, Operations and Finance
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with ERP systems and processes.  5 years of experience in administering and supporting PeopleSoft GL and Oracle EPM
  • Corporate retail industry experience a plus
  • Technical expertise of Accounting and Finance functions
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to stay organized and multi task in a fast paced environment
  • Analytical and data driven mindset
