Accounting Principals has partnered with a local Indianapolis organization in search of an Accountant to join their downtown Indianapolis team. This is a newly created position which will be responsible for handling the accounting and operational functions for several business entities. The ideal candidate should be an advanced Excel user and 2+ years of corporate accounting experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys relationship building and is seeking growth opportunity. Compensation for this position begins at $50,000.
Maintains, reconciles, administers various general ledger accounts including but not limited to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Assists in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Prepares bank reconciliations.
Assists with preparation of monthly financial statements.
Complete month-end / year-end close functions
Handle communication between corporate and entities
Assists in monitoring sales and collections activity and reports results to management.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, required
2+ years related experience
Working knowledge of general ledger maintenance and financial reports.
Ability to work with all levels of management.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage
Advanced in Microsoft Excel
