Accounting Principals is pleased to be partnering with a non-profit local to Bergen County, NJ in their search to hire an Account Manager.  This is a unique opportunity for someone with an accounting background and/or degree work with numbers, as well as assist the recipients of the foundation.  It requires a strong acumen in working with numbers, customer service driven and someone highly attentive to detail.  This is a direct hire position (working on-site) that will offer up to 55K.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts, to include tracking expenses, disbursements, and reconciliations
  • Prepare reporting
  • Provide written/verbal communication to clients
  • Act as a point of contact and support to the CFO
  • Create and maintain strong organization system for internal financial related statements
  • Assist with payroll preparation
  • Act as a back-up for other administrative staff when needed
  •  

    Qualifications:

  • 2-4 year degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Solid data entry capabilities
  • The ability to work well as a team and individually
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Effective communication skills
