Accounting Principals is pleased to be partnering with a non-profit local to Bergen County, NJ in their search to hire an Account Manager. This is a unique opportunity for someone with an accounting background and/or degree work with numbers, as well as assist the recipients of the foundation. It requires a strong acumen in working with numbers, customer service driven and someone highly attentive to detail. This is a direct hire position (working on-site) that will offer up to 55K.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounts, to include tracking expenses, disbursements, and reconciliations
Prepare reporting
Provide written/verbal communication to clients
Act as a point of contact and support to the CFO
Create and maintain strong organization system for internal financial related statements
Assist with payroll preparation
Act as a back-up for other administrative staff when needed
Qualifications:
2-4 year degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Strong customer service skills
Solid data entry capabilities
The ability to work well as a team and individually
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Effective communication skills
